My newsletter has a new name: Hannah’s Show and Tell. I never liked the old name (Hannah’s Thinking Cap), especially since I never wear baseball hats. I think this new name reflects what I have been doing and what I want to do in this space, which is to present to you (yes, you!) a round up of all the good, bad, weird, inspiring, informative parts of the Internet.
We all know there’s a lot of crazy stuff out there. Not only is the Internet like drinking from a fire hydrant, it’s like drinking from a fire hydrant that also contains a lot of toxins. But I like to think of myself as a news curator. I cull the important things from the Internet and I help package in it a way that provides context and is useful to you.
So I hope you enjoy my new, more focused version of the newsletter. The main things you’ll be getting from this latest iteration is:
Tweets! I love my Twitter round-ups, and I hope you do too! (Note: For my Tweet-heavy newsletters, I highly recommend downloading twitter OR reading it on a desktop. If you read it on a mobile device, sometimes it won’t let you play the videos unless you download the app).
Interesting long-form reads. These will be thought-provoking articles, op-eds, and other essays, that I promise will be worth your time.
Explainers. This is when I take a topic and give you my thoughts on it, kind of like how a museum will put descriptions next to a painting or sculpture.
Other things I find interesting. This is my way of saying that I will put whatever I want in here.
Just a note. I will try to put trigger warnings on certain topics. Also, I will try my best to keep the language as clean as possible, but there may be occasional curse words, especially if I’m quoting someone else.
But let’s talk about one serious thing before we go into twitter.
Please read this:

If possible, I will always slip in a Taylor Swift reference into this newsletter:
Speaking of which, if you consider yourself a Taylor Swift fan, this was the most fun quiz I’ve taken in forever.
